With this product my team and I encountered new challenges. Although the underlying hardware is android based the experience is dissimiliar to usual multi touch interfaces. Together with the engineering team we had to learn how to create a user interface that can be used in kitchen enviroments. Touch areas and sensitivity vary massively under conditions like dust, oil or water.
The visual design had to go hand in hand with the modern and exceptional design language of Martin Steininger.
